Iraqi Forces Retook Al-Baghdadi District from ISIL

KABUL: (Middle East Press) The center of al-Baghdadi district have been recaptured by the Iraqi security forces of the ISIL Takfiri militants.

KABUL: (Middle East Press) The center of al-Baghdadi district have been recaptured by the Iraqi security forces of the ISIL Takfiri militants.

The liberation came one day after the ISIL terrorists launched an attack on the air base.

According to Iraq’s Alsumaria news agency, “The security forces have also killed dozens of ISIL militants during the operation to retake al-Baghdadi district’s center”.

The strategic district is situated near the Iraqi air base of Ayn al-Asad, which reportedly houses more than 300 US marines.

The ISIL that started its campaign of terror in Iraq in early June 2014, now control parts of Iraq and neighboring Syria.
