Iraqi Forces Kill Over 100 ISIL Militants in Iraq

KABUL: (Middle East Press) At least 103 ISIL militants were killed in different provinces of Iraq following operations staged by Iraqi forces and allied forces.

The Iraqi Defense Ministry said in a statement that the operations were conducted in Salah ad-Din, Nineveh and Anbar provinces as well as international coalition’s strikes have damaged many ISIL positions and destroyed their ammunitions.

Twenty-six ISIL militants were killed in Saladin, 12 in Samarra, 16 in Anbar’s Ramadi city, and four in Nineveh.

The Baghdad Operations Command said in a statement that 45 ISIL militants were killed 40 kilometers west of Baghdad in a joint operation of the Iraqi army and other anti-ISIL forces.

Separately, at least six people were killed and 17 others injured in bomb attacks in several regions of capital Baghdad.
