Imran-Trump meeting on Afghanistan

Islamabad has announced, progress in in the ongoing talks between Taliban and the United States will pave way for the two leaders to shake hands and review Afghanistan issues.

According to Middle East Press; Speaking to Urdu News, A meeting between Prime Minister Imran Khan and US President Donald Trump might take place after headway in Afghan peace talks in Doha, Pak FM Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said.

He noted that there has been progress in continuing peace talks in Doha, and after further progress is being made, the leaders of the two countries will examine the issues.

Quraishi stated that the visit is not dependent on the success of the peace talks between the United States and the armed Taliban, but progress in these talks will strengthen the chance of the visit.

The meeting between Pakistani PM and US President comes as the sixth round of talks between the Taliban and the United States ended without a conclusion.
