Impressive Victory For Reformers In Iran’s Assembly Of Experts Elections

iran-election-vote_3583119bKABUL: (MEP) The final winners of Iran’s 5th Assembly of Experts and 10th parliamentary elections have been announced.

The Iranian Interior Ministry made the announcement on Monday that showed dramatic victory for reformers against fundamentalism.

Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani was at the top of Tehran’s list for the Assembly of Experts and Ahmad Jannati was the last line of the list as sixteenth candidate.

Notably, the absence of Mohammad Yazdi (the current head of Assembly of Experts) and Mesbah-Yazdi failed to appear in the Assembly of Experts before the new era.

A total of four million 500 thousand and 894 votes in Tehran, Akbar Hashemi Bahramani with two million, 301 thousand and 492 votes topped in the list and after him, the following candidates are:

Mohammad Aqa Amani (Kashani), Hassan Rouhani, Mohsen Qami, Mohammad Ali Mohadi, Qurban Ali Dari Najaf Abadi, Sayed Abl-Fazl Mir-Mohammadi, Mohammad Mohammadi Nek, Ibrahim Haj Amini Najaf Abadi, Sayed Mahmood Alawi, Nasrullah Shah Abadi, Mohammad Ali Taskheri, Mohsin Ismaeli, Mohammad Hassan Zaali, Sayed Hashemi Bathaye and Ahmad Jannati.
