Human Rights Condemned the Brutal Murder of Civilians in Kabul

n00087625-bKABUL: (Middle East Press) Afghanistan Independent Human Rights Commission (AIHRC) condemned the brutal murder of civilians by armed opposition groups in Kabul and urged all parties involved in the killing of innocent people, women and children to end.

Following a deadly explosion of a lorry type vehicle packed with explosive materials late Friday in Shah-Shahid area of Kabul city detonated in which at least 20 civilians have been killed and up to 500 others sustained injuries, mostly women and children.

Several homes, shops and other business places located in the area were also destroyed in the powerful explosion.

However, the Commission, while wishing patience and fortitude to the relatives and survivors a speedy recovery for the wounded, has considered this opposition as a cowardly act, un-Islamic and inhuman, in contradiction to the principles of Islam, the laws Country, principles and rules of international humanitarian knowledge, condemned in the strongest terms.
