Huge Fire Erupted In Mandawi Area of Capital Kabul Leaving 20 Shops Burnt

KABUL: (Middle East Press) According to preliminary reports, a market of dry fruits has set on fire in Mandawi area of Kabul city on Friday morning.

The incident reportedly occurred in the 1st police district around 10:00am.

The market was known as “Nawab market” leaving at least 20 shops completely burnt.

The traders of the market have suffered enormous financial loss due to the deadly incident.

The motive behind the incident is not clear so far but it has been reported that the fire swept through the market due to a short circuit.

Fortunately none has been hurt following the incident and the fire engines have reached the area.
