Herat Special Forces Commander Mistakenly Shot Dead
KABUL (MEP) – The commander of Herat Police Special Forces was unintentionally shot dead in a security checkpoint in Herat city, says local officials.
The Commander of Herat Police Special Forces Ahmad Shah Jalali, was shot dead on Friday while crossing a security checkpoint in Herat city.
The Herat governor’s office says Commander Jalali in plain clothes was crossing a security checkpoint that was unintentionally shot by police soldier.
The governor of Herat has provided the necessary guidance for a comprehensive review of the incident.
