Helicopter Crash Kills 5 NATO Personnel in Kabul

imageKABUL: (Middle East Press) A military helicopter has fell down in capital Kabul leaving at least five personnel of the NATO-led Resolute Support (RS) mission killed and five others wounded Sunday afternoon at the NATO base.

A statement released by the Resolute Support Mission states “A coalition helicopter assigned to the Resolute Support Mission crashed due to a non-hostile incident Oct. 11 at approximately 4:15 p.m. at Camp Resolute Support, Kabul, Afghanistan.”

The statement did not issue details regarding the nationalities of those killed and injured.

However, the incident is being under further investigation and details will be updated.

Meanwhile, the British Defense Ministry says two Royal Air Force members were among the deceased in the incident.
