Heavy Clashes Between ISIS and Taliban in Zabul, Seven Beheaded Including Women

139408051117003596392434KABUL: (Middle East Press) The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) or ISIL Takfiri militant group have fatally beheaded seven abducted passengers in southern Zabul province, officials said Sunday.

The beheading took place in Arghandab district of the province.

The deceased passengers included two women, four men and a child who were reportedly kidnapped by terrorists in Zabul a few months ago when they were on the way to their province (Ghazni), said Jailani Farahi, police chief of Zabul.

He said the dead bodies were transferred to the district hospital in Shahjoi with the help of the local tribal elders.

The head of the provincial council Ata Jan Haq Parast also confirmed that the abducted passengers, including the women were brutally killed by the militants.

However, another official in southeastern Ghazni province said a child and two women were among seven hostages who were beheaded by the terror group.

Meanwhile, Haji Mahmand Nasratyar, governor of Arghandab district says heavy clashes between Taliban militants and ISIS group occurred in Arghandab district in which 30 members of ISIS were killed by Taliban militants.

Nasratyar adds one of the group’s fighters belonged to “Mullah Akhtar Mansoor” and the rest of fighters belonged to “Mullah Mansoor Dadullah”.

According to district governor, at least 40 members of both groups were killed and 10 others were injured during the gun battle.

“The group of Mullah Mansoor Dadullah is supported by ISIS militants” noted Nasratyar.

Around 30 members of ISIS militant group have been arrested by Mullah Akhtar Mansoor group.
