Heavy Bomb Attack Targets Blom Bank HQ In Beirut

529312_img650x420_img650x420_cropMEP: At least 2 wounded after a heavy bomb exploded in Beirut outside the headquarters of the Lebanese Blom Bank, on Sunday evening.

The state-run National News Agency said the bomb was placed under a car. Lebanese Interior Minister Nohad Machnouk, speaking to the private LBC station, confirmed the report which shook nearby buildings.

The bomb was made out of 2 kilograms of explosives, the police said. In November, 41 people died in an explosion in Beirut. Daesh (ISIS/ISIL) terror group claimed responsibility for this previous blast.
