Heavy Blast Kills 6 Policemen, Injures 2 in Capital Kabul
KABUL: (Middle East Press) A relatively powerful blast rocked Capital Kabul leaving at least six policemen dead and wounded two others, officials reported.
The explosion took place due to Improvised Explosive Device (IED) around 11:00 am in Qarabagh district targeting a vehicle of the Afghan National Police (ANP) forces Monday morning.
According to Abdul Wasey Sharifi, the district administrative chief, investigations are underway and the injured were shifted to the hospitals.
No group or individuals has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
