KABUL: (Middle East Press) At least three dead and over 18 others were injured after a suicide bomber targeted the vehicle of the Afghan Attorney General Office (AGO) in capital Kabul, security officials said.

The attack took place in Dar-ul-Aman road in the vicinity of Sana-toriyam.

Kabul Police Department officials confirming the attack adding that at least 3 have lost their lives and 18 others were injured in the blast.

The officials further added that a woman was among those killed after a suicide bomber detonated explosives packed in his body near the vehicle of the AGO personnel.

No group has so far claimed responsibility behind the incident.

This comes as at least one person was killed and thirteen others were injured after a suicide bomber targeted the AGO staff/employees vehicle in the same area last Monday.

Suicide attacks and bombings have rapidly increased across the country and reports show that nearly 2,000 civilians have been killed following the violence since the beginning of the year in Afghanistan.
