Head of Kidnappers Group Detained in Herat
Herat’s National Security Officers arrested chief of a Kidnappers Group in Islam Qala border, after five years, while returning to the country.
According to the Middle East Press; the press office of Herat province, releasing a newsletter said; Mohammad Naser, main resident of Zenda-Jan district, who was charged with Kidnapping penalty, escaped abroad five years ago.
The newsletter said that a specialist team of National Security Officers who followed the case during this period became able to identify and arrest him after extensive investigation.
According to the source, the defendant, who kidnapped a 11-year-old child, was arrested by the National Security Forces after entering the country via the Islam Qala border crossing.
Several other kidnappings were also arrested in connection with the case, which were sentenced by the justice and judicial Offices.
Abduction, in particular children kidnapping in Herat, has become a serious problem, thus, a number of capitalists and businessmen have transferred their capital and their families abroad.
