Gunmen Kidnap 11 Civilians In Sar-e-Pul
KABUL: (MEP) Local officials announced Thursday that a number of armed men have abducted at least 11 civilians in Sayad district of northern Sar-e-Pul on Wednesday.
A spokesman for the Provincial Governor, Zabihullah Amani said, the incident occurred when unknown armed men stopped a bus in the district and abducted 11 passengers.
Operations and investigations have been launched to find the kidnappers and release the civilians, he added.
No group has so far claimed responsibility for the incident.
