Gunmen Behead Top Government official in Farah

KABUL: (Middle East Press) Abdul Raziq, a top government official has been fatally behead by unknown gunmen in western Farah province, officials said.

Raziq, who was 23, and the director of statistics in Pusht Rud District was found dead in his home village after being kidnapped by unidentified gunmen, according to reports.

Abdul Raziq’s family members say gunmen attacked the house in Dukan village and kidnapped him to an unknown location on Monday night.

Ghausuddin, governor of Pusht Rud District said that Taliban militants are behind the brutal killing.

However, the Taliban militants have not commented yet.
