Gunmen Attacked NDS Officer in His Resident in Farah

KABUL: (Middle East Press) Unidentified armed-men have attacked and killed an officer of National Directorate of Security (NDS) – Afghanistan’s intelligence agency –in western Farah province.

According to Jawad Afghan, spokesman for the governor of Farah province, the officer Mohammad Hashim Khan was belong for Poshtroad District and had come under attack in his resident last night.

Afghan said that the killers have escaped the area after execution.

He added that an investigation has been launched into the incident.

This is 2nd NDS officer being killed in three days. Another NDS officer was killed by unknown gunmen in southern Kandahar province on Thursday.
