The abduction took place in a construction site in Muqur district of Badghis province.
Abdul Hadi Badghisi, governor of Muqur district said that investigations have been initiated into the incident.
However, it is yet unknown who the kidnappers are and what might be the motive behind the abduction.
This comes as four bodies of engineers have been discovered in Ghazni province Tuesday morning.
