KABUL: (Middle East Press) Unknown gunman has reportedly attack on a security check post in western Herat province leaving one policeman dead and two others wounded.
The incident took place in the 10th Police District of Herat city around 06:30 AM today, said Abdul Rawouf Ahmadi, spokesman for the police headquarters of Herat province.
According to Ahmadi, gunman attacked on policemen while they were busy at their routine duty at the security check post.
He said the wounded policemen were shifted to the nearby hospital and their health conditions are stable.
