Groom and His family Members Killed in Militants Attack in Farah
KABUL: (Middle East Press) A groom along with his father and brother have been killed following a group of insurgents attack in western Farah province, local officials said.
The local officials added that the incident took place on Friday around 12:00 pm in the capital city of Farah province.
According to the provincial security chief Dil Jan Khakrezi, the insurgents had Police uniforms on during the attack and then started shelling the vehicle of the groom while they were crossing the area.
The insurgents group are yet to comment regarding the incident.
The United Nations (UN) said civilian casualties and other deadly violence has rapidly increased by 34 per cent, with UNAMA documenting 309 civilian casualties (217 killed and 92 injured) in 192 separate incidents in just first three months of 2015.
