Ghazi police Cheif resignsMEP: Ghazni provincial police chief has resigned from his position but the Ministry of Interior says that he must to continue to work until approve or reject of the resignation.

General Aminullah Amarkhail, delivered his resignation letter on Monday to the Ministry of Interior.

Amarkhail has stated lack of justice, lack of cooperation in the field of battle and promotions based on relationships and dating in the Ministry of Security as the reasons for his resignation.

Meanwhile, the Interior Ministry issued a statement saying “the resignation of the police chief of Ghazni received and the Ministry will decide whether to approve or reject it.”

“Amarkhail should be addressed to his responsibilities regarding the security situation in Ghazni, according to the law, until the approval or rejection of his resignation,” the statement added.
