Ghazni, A Route For ISIS Transition To The North

MEP: Local officials in Ghazni province warn of the spread of Daesh (ISIS/ISIL) terrorist activities in the insecure areas, and say the group using the route of Ghazni to insecure the northern, go to the northern provinces.

Abdul Karim Matin, governor of Ghazni province recently said that members of the terrorist group go to the northern provinces of the country through insecure districts including Nawa, Gilan and Jaghori.

Matin added that if the case does not stop, insecurity would spread to large areas of Ghazni.

It’s noteworthy that the district of Nawa is dominated by the armed Taliban from 11 years onwards.

But Khalqdad Akbari, head of the Ghazni provincial council in an interview with the Middle East Press rejected the traffic of the terrorist group through Jaghori district.
