Fresh Saudi Air Attacks Kill Dozens of Civilians in Yemen

KABUL: (Middle East Press) Saudi warplanes targeted residential areas in the Yemeni capital city of Sana’a on early Friday, killing and injuring dozens of people, a medical source said.

According to Yemen’s Health Ministry, the Saudi fighter jets hit Sawan district in Sana’a, FNA reported.

Saudi fighter jets launched several rounds of strikes against the Southern Yemeni city of Aden on early Friday and killed over 14 civilians.

The Saudi bombers pounded two hotels in khorMaksar district in the seaport city of Aden and killed at least 14 people, including 9 women and 2 children.

The Saudi aerial aggression also targeted a bank in Hijja province, wounding 6 civilians.

The Yemeni army, backed by the popular committees, seized a consignment of firearms and munitions that a Saudi military plane had airdropped to al-Qaeda terrorists in Yemen’s Ta’iz, a military source revealed on Friday.

In Sanna, the Yemenis took to streets to protests against the US-Saudi aggression and blockade imposed on their country for over a month.

The Saudi Arabia has begun its brutal aggression in March 26 on Yemen in a bid to restore power to Yemen’s fugitive president Abdrabbu Mansour Hadi who is a close ally to Saudi Arabia.
