Kandahar media press office said a statement that the men had planned to carry out terrorist acts who have been arrested by security forces before reaching their targets.
The terrorists were identified as Abdul Ahad, Hikmatullah, Khudaidad and Atiqullah who are originally residents of Khakriz district of Kandahar province, the statement added.
According to the statement, the men confessed that they have been involved in various cases of suicide and destructive activities.
The development came a week after another group of kidnappers had been detained in Parwan province.
