Four People Killed in Traffic Accident in Maidan Wardak

1387jkKABUL: (Middle East Press) A traffic accident in Maidan Wardak province has left at least four civilians dead, officials said on Tuesday.

The incident took place around 12:00 pm Tuesday after a corolla vehicle hit a truck belonging to Afghan National Civil Order police (ANCOP) in Kotal area near the provincial capital of Maidan Wardak province.

The corolla vehicle was going from Kabul when it collided with the truck coming from opposite site.

Those killed in the accident were all passengers of the corolla vehicle.

An investigation has been launched into the incident.

Reckless driving causes traffic accident which kills dozens of people ever year in the country.
