Four Afghan Refugees Drowned In Turkish Coast

ااااKABUL: (Middle East Press) Turkish Naval Forces announced that a ship carrying Afghan and Syrian refugees off the coast of the country have drowned.

The incident occurred on Friday when a vessel packed with 55 refugees, who were heading from Turkey to Lisbon island, have been drowned with extremely high waves.  

According to reports, four Afghan refugee children have been drowned and killed during the incident and a number wounded.

Turkish coast guards say dead bodies of four children were recovered.

Turkey, since the beginning of the civil war in Syria has about 2.2 million refugees on its soil so far, a major transit point for refugees fleeing war and trying to reach a peaceful life through which to Europe.
