Woman, Children Among 25 Die In Badghis Floods
KABUL: (MEP) At least 25 people have lost their lives including a woman and two children following torrent and floods in western Badghis province, local officials said.
The downpours occurred on Sunday in Sang-atash, Jawand and Aab-kamari districts, Abdul Rauf Taj, police chief of Badghis confirmed.
He said severe floods killed at least eight people in Jawand district, four died in Aab-kamari district and 13 others killed in Sang-atash.
According to reports, local residents have pulled out the bodies from the water with the help of security forces in the affected areas.
