Five Dead in Parwan Traffic Accident  

imagesKABUL: (Middle East Press) At least five people have lost their lives and nine others wounded following a traffic accident in Parwan province on Wednesday evening.

The incident took place in “Saye Khail” road in Bayan area after two passenger busses crashed leaving five dead and nine others sustained injuries, said Mihrabuddin Parwani, traffic director of Parwan province.

Meanwhile, Parwan civilian hospital head Mohammad Qasim Sangin has also confirmed the incident and the death of five people and nine injured.

According to Sangin, some of the injured victims are in critical condition.

Officials have blamed reckless driving as the cause behind the increase in the number of accidents in the country in recent months.
