According to the report, Sheikh Mohammed Sharifa, a leading Tunisian scholar in a press interview said, “I do not listen to the news, what is the sin of ordinary people that were killed in such a brutal way. People in Yemen, Syria, Iraq and Palestine have no right to live?”
He stressed that Takfiri’s actions are too far from the concept of revolution and political opposition against a regime. “They wracked Syria as thousands of innocent people have been displaced”, he said.
Sharifa also added that Muslims must take a lesson from the Israeli official’s remarks who had said that ‘a true and enjoyable victory is when you force your enemies to kill each other.’
He emphasized upon the necessity of returning Muslim countries to Muslims and said, “Muslims have reached to such an unfortunate point that in recent Intifada, Palestinians said that they do not ask Arab countries to help them but request the later not to support Israel.”
