Family Members Killed in Khost Roadside Bombing
KABUL (MEP) – All members of a family were killed in a roadside bomb blast in Alishir district of Khost province.
The incident occurred today, Tuesday, December 17, in the Bakhana area of Alishir district after a civilian vehicle struck a roadside mine.
Nusrat Rahimi, a spokesman for the Interior Ministry, says 10 people –all family members- were killed in the incident.
Rahimi stated that 5 men, 3 children and two women are victims of the incident.
Rahimi said the mine was placed by the Taliban in the area but the Taliban has not yet commented on the blast.
