Faisal Shayesta To Play For The League Of Iran

MEP: Paykan Tehran coach one of the teams in the Premier League of Iran’s football, to attract the Afghanistan’s national football team captain, has expressed interest.

According to reports, Majid Jalali, head coach of Paykan football team in Tehran at a press conference yesterday evening announced that it intends to attract Faisal Shayesta, the Afghan national team captain.

He said, efforts have been started to do so and it is likely to happen in the near future.

Previously, Ali Daei head coach of Tehran’s Naft football team had invited “Owais Azizi”, the country’s national football team goalkeeper to participate in their team workouts, although after nearly two weeks of training, Ali Daei did not like Azizi to be with them.

Attracting Iranian Team

However, Owais Azizi failed to meet Ali Daei’s expectations, but the significant point in his training days in the team of Naft, was the prominence of Afghan citizens in Iran to encourage him.

Since Afghan citizens in Iran have always been supporters of the country’s internationals in the Asian races and this trend absorbed the consideration of Iran’s coaches and fans, now the working coaches in Iran’s Premier League are trying to attract spectators, attract players from their neighboring country.

Faisal, was elected last year as the best sports figures in the country and has begun his career in Germany, then went to Bulgaria.

He currently plays in the Malaysia Super League.
