KABUL: (Middle East Press) A relatively heavy explosion rocked Balkh province of northern Mazar-e-Sharif Saturday morning.
According to middle East Press news agency, the blast took place in the basement of ‘Kefayat Market’ in the city of Mazar-e-sharif where people go for money transfer and currency exchange.
Witnesses have told our reporter that at least three people were seriously wounded following the blast and were immediately shifted to the nearby hospital.
According to eyewitnesses, the explosion is likely to cause financial losses as well.
However, the security authorities in Balkh province have yet to comment.
No group has so far claimed responsibility behind the attack.
