Explosion Leaves 14 Injured in Balkh
KABUL: (MEP) At least 14 people were injured in a mine explosion embedded on a motorbike in Balkh province, officials say.
Shahir Durani, spokesman for Balkh police chief told Middle East Press the incident took place at 12:30pm in Dawlat Abad district.
According to him, the bomb was planted in a motorbike, type of Zaranj, in which at least 14 civilians, including women and children were wounded.
Durani said that the injured were taken to the central hospital in Mazar-e-Sharif. Two of them in critical condition.
No group including Taliban insurgents claimed responsibility for the blast so far.
