Explosion Kills 2, Injuries 12 In Helmand’s Nad Ali
MEP: At least two people have lost their lives and 12 others including children wounded in an explosion in Nan Ali district of southern Helmand province.
The blast occurred at around 10:00am on Saturday after a suicide bomber inside a vehicle detonated his explosives near a police training center, Omar Zwak, spokesman for Helmand’s provincial governor said.
Zwak says that a school is located near the training center and the elementary statistics of the attack so far is 12 wounded and two killed, including school students.
Helmand governor’s spokesman said, the identity of the dead had not yet been established.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
