Explosion in Kandahar Kills 4 Children, Injures 6
KABUL: (Middle East Press) At least four children have been killed and six others injured following a blast in southern Kandahar province, local government officials said.
Police Spokesman Ahmad Zia Abdulzai said that the attack took place Saturday around 4:00pm near the Baba Wali petrol pump situated in the limits of eight municipality district of the city.
Abdulzai added that the explosives materials were placed in a pillow when detonated leaving nine people killed and injured.
Those wounded in the explosion were soon shifted to the hospital and their health conditions are reported to be critical.
No group including the Taliban groups have claimed responsibility behind the attack.
