KABUL: (Middle East Press) An explosion in western Herat province has left an Afghan policewoman dead on Wednesday afternoon.
Officials said, the incident occurred on Herat-Islam Qala highway targeting a check post of the police forces and two policemen were also injured.
The officials further added the type of the explosion is not clear yet and the police forces have launched an investigation into the incident.
No group has claimed responsibility behind the attack so far.
