Election 2015: UK Electors Begun Casting Votes

KABUL: (Middle East Press) Millions of people have begun casting their votes in the United Kingdom general election today.

Doors at polling stations across the country opened at 7:00 am local time (0600 GMT), and will remain open until 10:00 pm with the final result due on Friday, though voters may have to wait days for a new government in the likely event of a hung parliament.

A total of 650 Westminster MPs will be elected, with about 50 million people registered to vote.
