Egyptian Air Forces Kill 70 Daesh-Affliated Terrorists
MEP: The Egyptian forces killed at least 70 terrorists belonging to Daesh (ISIS/ISIL) in Northern Sinai by airstrikes and scores wounded, media reports.
Egyptian fighter jets hit the terror group’s positions in the village of Bolus during a series of predawn attacks, Egyptian security forces said on Sunday.
The attack has been carried out in response to the assassination of a senior Egyptian military officer by the so-called Revolution Brigade.
The Egyptian army also destroyed several vehicles belonging to the terrorists, according to the source.
The military had also attacked Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis (jihadist group affiliated with Daesh) positions in the cities of Rafah and Sheikh Zuweid.
