KABUL (MEP) – The US Secretary of State, in an interventionist statement on Afghanistan, has urged that his country opposes the establishment of a parallel government in Afghanistan and does not allow the use of force to solve political crisis.
“The US strongly supports a unified and sovereign Afghanistan and opposes any effort to establish a parallel government or any use of force to resolve political differences,” the US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo wrote in a post on Twitter.
“The US Prioritize an inclusive government is paramount for peace,” Pompeo declared.
Yesterday, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani and Dr. Abdullah Abdullah simultaneously held presidential inauguration ceremonies at the Sapidar and ARG palaces.
Pompeo’s statement proves that the United States continues to regard Afghanistan as its own, easily interfering with its affairs, and deciding for a country with 100 years of independence.
