The National Directorate of Security (NDS) said on Saturday that the Haqqani terrorist network suspect was looking to carry out the attack in Shahr-e-Naw part of the city using 2 Improvised Explosive Device (IED).
“The detained militant has been identified as Khalid also famous as Sohail” NDS added.
The terrorist has immediately arrested by National Security officers before launching his attack and his mines were defused.
Further investigation has been started from the detained terrorist, police said.
