KABUL: (MEP) The Afghan national security forces have prevented two deadly terrorist bombing attacks plot by the insurgents in southern Kandahar city and central Kapisa province.
The Ministry of Interior (MoI) said Wednesday that Afghan forces have successfully killed the terrorists in a special military operation and have thwarted their deadly bomb attack in Ghorak district of Kandahar province.
According to the ministry, the terrorists were looking to detonate a truck packed with explosives in the city.
On the other hand, security officials have seized two home-made bombs in a Corolla vehicle in the jurisdiction of 1st PD of the provincial capital of Kapisa province around 11 am today.
No arrests have been made in connection to the reports so far.
This comes as two massive blasts rocked Helmand and Jalalabad cities today.
However, no groups claimed responsibility behind the two explosions.
