In Video Footage Daesh Threatens To Attack Putin, Russia

Daesh-flag-AFPMEP: The Takfiri Daesh (ISIS/ISIL) terror group released a video urging extremists to attack Russia and kill President Vladimir Putin.

The threat comes amid Russia’s repeated warnings that IS terrorism in Syria and Iraq could soon spread to other parts of the world.

According to Reuters, it was not immediately possible to independently verify the video but the link to the footage has been loaded to the Telegram account used by the terrorists.

“Listen Putin, we will come to Russia and will kill you at your homes,” a masked man driving a car in the desert yelled in a nine-minute YouTube video on Sunday.

The terror group, outlawed in the United States, Russia and numerous other countries throughout the world, has seized vast areas in Iraq and Syria, forcing thousands of people to flee their homes.

“There are an estimated 5,000 to 7,000 fighters from Russia and other CIS member states fighting for ISIL,” Putin said last October after Russia launched its bombing campaign in Syria at the request of Syria’s president, Bashar Assad.
