Daesh-Allied Terrorists Kidnap Six Civilians In Ghor

MEP: The Daesh (ISIS/ISIL) affiliated terrorists have kidnapped six civilians on Friday night, an official said.

The incident comes as two weeks ago the terror group killed more than 30 civilians in the village of Brand Kasi of Feroz Koh city.

Ghulam Nasir Khazy, the governor of Ghor province told the Middle East Press, these people have been kidnapped during the recent war and the perpetrators of the last week massacre are involved in this kidnapping and to create pressure on the security forces, they have committed this.

A special operation is currently under way to destroy the terror group and will be more extensively and this has caused opponents are looking to put pressure on security forces and reduce the military operations, he said.

Ghor Governor added that efforts to release the kidnapped people also started.

About thirty people have pledged allegiance to Daesh in the province that are now fighting with the security forces, according to Khazy.

This abduction of six residents, most of whom are farmers, came only one day after the President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani’s trip in the province that he had promised to improve the situation of the province.
