KABUL: (Middle East Press) At least 20 insurgents were killed and five security forces embraced martyrdom following clashes in western Farah province, the Defense Ministry says.
The ministry released a statement on Tuesday states that the conflict broke out on Monday when the militants attacked “several army outposts in Bala Buluk district of Farah Province.”
“Three Taliban commanders were among the dead, and twelve others were also wounded,” it said.
According to the statement some foreign militants were among the attackers.
