Vladimir Putin during the (Commonwealth of Independent States) CIS summit in Kazakhstan said, escalating violence from Afghanistan to the former Soviet republics in Central Asia to be drawn may be.
“The situation in Afghanistan is certainly close to critical” said Putin, adding that “various terrorist groups are trying to influence and will not hide their targets that would increase their activities.”
Russian President noted that one of the aims of terrorist groups is to find ways in Central Asia.
He further added to combat the formation and expansion of the Taliban in Central Asia, a common military-style separation of NATO from Central Asia and the former Soviet Union should be created.
