Car Bomb Explosion Injures Six Policemen in Cairo

car bomb blast in EgyptKABUL: (Middle East Press) At least six policemen have been wounded in a massive car bomb explosion in the Egyptian capital city of Cairo, local media said.

The incident took place when a vehicle targeted a state security building in Cairo’s Shubra al-Khaima district in the middle of the night, according to reports.

Reports also indicate that a man suddenly stopped his car in front of the state security building, jumped out of it and fled on a motorbike that followed the car which exploded wounding six policemen.

Another unidentified source also told AFP that “the explosion partially destroyed the building.”

No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack, however such incidents usually claims by ISIL Takfiri terror group which is most active in the country’s restive region of North Sinai.
