Car Bomb Blast Targets Yemeni Mosque

KABUL: (Middle East Press) At least two people have been killed and six others wounded after a car bomb exploded near a mosque in the Yemen’s capital Sanaa, Saturday afternoon, security sources said.

The officials, speaking on condition of anonymity said the bomb targeted the Qabat al-Mahdi mosque in the city of Sanaa.

No group has so far claimed responsibility behind the attack.

The attack comes just few days after a series of suicide bombings rocked Sanaa on Wednesday as the Yemenis were preparing themselves for the holy month of Ramadan.
