Bus Crash Leaves 29 Injured in Ghazni

01F3E0E9-5FA4-4235-B8E7-7A26BA14E3F6_w640_r1_sKABUL: (Middle East Press) A traffic accident on Kabul-Kandahar highway in the central of Ghazni province left at least 29 people injured, officials said.

The crash took place in Rig Rishan area Monday morning around 10:30 am local time, said Shafiq Nang Safai, spokesman for the acting governor of Ghazni province.

Safai added that a passenger bus of a “303” model struck with “304” model coming from the opposite side leaving 29 passengers fatally wounded.

Security forces and ambulances have soon arrived at the scene and were shifted the victims to the civil hospital for treatment.

According to Safai, reckless driving has caused the motive behind the incident and injuring of 29 civilians.

Baz Mohammad the head doctor in Ghazni’s civil hospital said that four of the victims are being in critical conditions.
