Bomb Blast in Balkh; Two Children killed

KABUL (MEP) – As a result of an IED bomb blast in Charbolak district of Balkh province, two children were killed.

The incident took place today morning (Monday, July 15) in Khan Abad area of Charbolak district, Balkh; 209 Shaheen Corps said in a newsletter.

Two Children were killed after the embedded mine exploded, citing the newsletter.

The newsletter says the embedded mine hit the children when they were busy playing.

The two children dies, while in accordance to announcement of Ministry of Defense, in the first five months of 2019, 950 civilians were killed and 2213 injured as a result of violence in Afghanistan.
