Blast Leaves Eight Injured In Kunduz
KABUL: (MEP) At least eight people have been wounded, including a tribal elder and a traffic policeman in a remote control bomb explosion in the provincial capital of northern Kunduz province, local authorities said.
Hijratullah Akbari, deputy spokesman for Kunduz police chief told Middle East Press the incident occurred on Tuesday at around 10:00 am near the central city of Kunduz.
According to him, the magnetic mine was placed in the vehicle of Hajji Qadir, one of the community elders in Khan Abad district.
The injured have been transferred to a nearby hospital where two of them are in critical condition, Akbari added.
No group claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
