The blast took place at around 6:00am near the gate of customs of the province, local security officials confirmed.
It is yet unclear if the blast was caused by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED). However, security officers have already launched a probe into the incident.
The injured were shifted to the hospital immediately, according to reports.
No group claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
